My Story

From Diagnosis
to Dominion in Christ Jesus

In January 2020, at the age of 34, I sat in a consulting room at The Shard in London and was told I had multiple sclerosis. The doctors were clear: MS is incurable. I left that room despondent and without hope, facing a lifetime of medication, progressive symptoms, and an uncertain future.

What happened next changed everything. Through a deeper revelation of what Jesus Christ accomplished at Calvary — that He bore not only our sins but our sicknesses — I began to stand on God's Word over my body. By late spring of 2020, every single symptom was gone. No seizures. No vertigo. No muscle spasms. No pins and needles. No blurred vision. Restored strength and balance. Six years later, I remain completely free.

That experience became the foundation of everything I write. Auntie Gertrude is the first novel born from it.

Auntie Gertrude

One Woman's Victory Over Sickness Through Christ

In the town of Suro Yareɛ — whose very name means "Fear Sickness" — one woman dares to believe something her entire community considers madness. When Auntie Gertrude is diagnosed with leukaemia, she opens her Bible, speaks to the tumour on her arm, and declares what she has staked her life on: that Jesus Christ bore her sickness at Calvary. Already. Finished. Done.

Edwards

David C. Y. Edwards is an author and Data Analyst and Engineer who lives in Ghana most of the time and has worked in the UK for over a decade. His life was transformed in 2020 when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 34 at the London Bridge Hospital.

Despondent and helpless, he found himself drawn into a deeper revelation of Christ and His finished work — and subsequently experienced complete healing through faith in Jesus Christ. That experience became the foundation of his writing.

David writes fiction that takes faith, life and the human experience seriously — stories that are honest, vivid and deeply felt.
